TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AFFECTING EAST WASHINGTON STREET, NORTH DAWSON STREET, AND OTHER SURROUNDING AREAS

City of Thomasville Utility crews will be working on East Washington Street between North Dawson Street and North Love Street beginning May 15, 2023 to replace a wastewater main. The work will take approximately two weeks. City of Thomasville Utility crews will begin work along Patterson Still Road near East Pinetree Boulevard beginning Monday, September 26, 2022. Beginning July 5, City of Thomasville Gas Department crews will begin relocating a gas main on Kern Street between Reid and Clark Streets. Work is expected to last four days and occur between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm each day. There will be temporary lane closures in the eastbound lane of Kern Street while the work is underway. Contractors will begin installing a new wet well at Lift Station 7, which is at the corner of Old Monticello Road and South Pinetree Boulevard.
